Rite of the New Moon

The new moon marks the beginning of a new cycle, so this particular lunar period is optimal for formulating and 'sowing' our intentions. As the seeds need a period of gestation before they germinate, so also for the event, the realization of our ideas and our desires. The moon phase 'black' is often considered the stage where our intentions are the roots before manisfestarsi sufficient to 'light'. There are the professors of the 'magic' of energy, such as Wayne Dyer (even if they do not call it 'magic') that may completely ignore the lunar phases, since the energy from us and is always the same (as long as we sufficiently to create within us). But from personal experience I can say with some confidence that, if we are not experts of magic energy, it is better to receive the aid flow lunar)

Process

Our intentions, if clear and 'expressed' with a strong flow of energetic, have power. So, make sure your intentions (ideas and desires) are right. The belief that these intentions are moral, just and appropriate will help you to accumulate force and not be weakened by doubts or lack of confidence.

Material: book (or sheets of white paper), pen, markers or colored pencils, scissors, adhesive tape, one (or more) white candle, lighter, incense (vanilla, cinnamon or pink if your intentions regarding love alone; Pine when they concern only the prosperity), meditative music, or silence (if you have this option).

Prepare a place that will become your sacred place, the corner of your meditation. This place must be 'clean' from any negative energy, dedicated, and this can be achieved by burning incense before working, or doing a simple ceremony with sage (very common rite of native Indians in North America, or (if you prefer) with a prayer (just to be sure / to the action you're doing).

Sit back, relax (perhaps taking deep breaths as during meditation), drink herbal tea or any relaxing drink (not alcohol!), Listen to relaxing music or meditation.

Open the notebook and write the date of the ceremony (to do in the new moon)

On top of the first page, write this 'statement: (not have to follow these words exactly, but the concept has to be this):' I accept these new things / new event this (as you prefer) in my life for the betterment of my life my sake and the sake of all those involved '

Now start writing your intentions (desires) on the page. Choose what truly brings you emotional intensity and remember that the intentions are positive (not harm anyone). It can also be a 'going alone.

If you have not experienced this type of ritual can help you a visual of what you want (you can search and print the images you find on the Internet, or you can put pictures of you, as desired and any image is most appropriate to your intention).

Once written the intentions and apply the images, light the white candle between you and the images / phrases and begins to meditate and imagine exactly how you feel once you have this desire (sensations, feelings, images). After twenty or thirty minutes of this meditation, your ritual is over and you can leave the candle to burn safely (on a metal plate in silver, for example) or you can turn it off (without a blow, but 'smothering' a thimble of metal, for example). If it is positioned securely, you can let it burn (perhaps using short candles, which are more stable).

If what you want requires more time (such as a house by the sea), you can repeat this ritual to the next new moon, and even during the waxing moon. Preferably in the morning or at midnight, or at least two hours after sunset until midnight (solar time).

Remember that the intention has always been the most positive power and negative power of intention. Always.
